CPYC PA DAY CAMPS 2023/2024

 CP Youth Centre’s camps are designed by our youth worker who incorporates engaging and  evidence based  activities that aid fine and gross motor skills via play. Through the implementation of activities that enhance social and emotional development, your child will receive a fun and hands on learning experience that is led by working professionals and our role model volunteers. These programs are an  opportunity for your child to build meaningful relationships with both adults and other children, along with creating lasting memories for years to come. 

Key Learning areas in November’s program: 

• Social and communication skills via ice breakers 
• Critical thinking and teamwork skills via STEM activities
• Fine motor skills and creative thinking 
• Healthy eating practices through our well thought out, themed snacks 
• Gross motors skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship via obstacle and relay races 
• Sensory processing skills various STEM based activities  
• Sensory processing and math (measuring) skills via slime making and math games

Who can participate: Young people ages 8 – 12 (we welcome volunteers)
Registration costs: $45 participation fee – we provide snacks and lunch
Program location: 360 Edmund Street 

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A DAY DAY CAMP AND REQUIRES PARENTS/ GUARDIANS TO DROP OFF AND PICK UP THEIR CHILD(REN) UNLESS WRITTEN PERMISSION IS PROVIDED ON ENROLMENT FORM FOR KIDS TO WALK TO/FROM YOUTH CENTRE. IN THE EVENT STAFF/ VOLUNTEERS DO NOT RECOGNIZE PARENTS/GUARDIANS, I.D. SHOULD BE SHOWN.
