KIDZ In The Kitchen Program

KIDZ In The Kitchen is an 8-week cooking program designed to introduce young people to cooking, making them feel more comfortable in the kitchen while developing valuable life skills.  The participants learn kitchen and food safety, basic cooking techniques, budgeting, healthy meal planning, kitchen cleanliness, kitchen etiquette and teamwork skills.  Participants will be encouraged to make healthy food choices, learn the benefits of healthy eating, develop social and communication skills, encouraged to experiment with new foods and foster creativity, confidence, positive self-esteem and resiliency for their futures.

This program will equip your child with the skills to make meals from scratch and select the ingredients that they need to make healthy choices and tasty food for the whole family.
